I made these illustrations for a company called LDS Mobile Apps for an app called LDS Coloring Book. It is a digital coloring book for the iPad and iPhone. These images are part of an extra set that they are selling for Christmastime.
On Halloween, I shared a new illustration that I recently finished featuring Ichabod Crane from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Here’s some of the process work that went into the painting:
The original sketch, drawn on a regular sheet of paper. I used a red pencil to rough it out and then went over it with a regular pencil line.
Before I started painting, I did a few studies to figure out what direction I wanted to go with the color.

It’s been awhile since I posted any actual artwork, so here you go! I hope everyone is surviving all the snowstorms and yucky weather.

They Draw and Cook is a wonderful blog that features illustrated recipes by many different artists. Anyone is free to submit a recipe. These are a couple of my own illustrations that I submitted recently. It is tons of fun. Go over to the site and check out all of the other awesome artwork. I can’t believe it’s mid-August already. It’s sad to see summer go.
