Video #16: Sailor Sketch

Video: Sailor Sketch (Quicktime, 1:18, 157 KB)

Here is a bit of a quickie sketch that I made a few weeks ago. It is pretty straightforward, but it is significant because I created this painting during a live broadcast at Ustream.tv. The site enables you to create live video streams that users can interact with through chat. I am still experimenting with it, but if you have suggestions or have had experience with this service before, I would be happy to hear any comments you may have! Hopefully, I will have more Ustream experiments to share soon.

I just saw this on iTunes. I was hoping to see the tools used and so forth. Thank you very much for posting. Check out my blog. Unfortunately, I haven’t posted anything finished but, that’s happening soon. I hope you like my work. The digital watercolor painting was a little something I decided to try out as a result of reading one of your tutorials Dani. I’ve been busy with freelance work and learning Maya.

Hi Dani, I just wanted to let you know that there’s a problem with the #16 sailor sketch feed entry. iTunes doesn’t download this file and gives an error stating “http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/DaniDrawsVideo/~5/LwC-BYwnrr0/dani_15_sailor.mov could not be found on the server” .. it looks like the filename in the feed is wrong and should be “dani_16_sailor.mov”. Would you please update this feed entry so iTunes (and probably other podcast clients) don’t error on this video. Thank you.
