Island

Okay, this isn’t exactly an island,  but it is what came  out when I sat down to make this week’s Illustration Friday entry.

Oh how I love the awesomeness of this whale…
I think its that goofy grin mostly but what just really makes me happy are those warm to cool color shifts in the water and sky…along with that orange/red reflective light.
Sigh….just love a good reflected light.

Oh and I wish I was a turtle right now also.
    Ok now I am done

Actually, medieval bestiaries claim that whales deceive sailors by having part of their backs exposed to the surface. The sailors would then land their ship on the whale's back and begin cooking dinner. Eventually, the whale would notice and begin to move. The sailors would then try to get back to the ship. Your art is awesome!
