I've owned this book for a while and I can say it's a precious resource specially if you are looking beyond the "how to draw" book landfill. As far as I know this is the only book dealing with the ins and outs of character design in depth. Sure, there are basic sketch tips and things like that, but the book's main attraction is on the nuances and observations that make the difference between a good character design and a great one. Of course I can also recommend it for anyone who is into creating characters for fun or profit.
