Fun picture! I really like the shadow shapes on this. I think you could push the values a little more and it would really make things pop.
This is great (as usual)! Your work is perfect and I generally can’t think of anything to suggest – but I have a couple ideas for these pirates. Did you consider darkening the shadow directly under the bed (the bottom third feels flat to me)? Also, there are a lot of vertical and horizontal lines – what would the illustration look if it was tilted 5 degrees? I was on your agent’s site and noticed your bird perched along the header! Fun!
