Hi Dan, i love your posts! I’m currently experimenting with customizing brushes, thanks to your post! I think it’s too much to ask but i really love all the 6 brushes you have above, is there any way you could share it with the rest of your readers? They are awesome!

thank you so much for the tutorials on how to make brushes. i learnt from them and now make my own brushes. i either use the photoshop brushes(CS2) or scan my own drawings and make brushes.

lily, A lot of what I know about making Photoshop brushes and brush settings is already up on this site. Try reading these articles: http://danidraws.com/2007/04/20/not-your-typical-round-brush/ http://danidraws.com/2007/01/20/make-your-own-photoshop-brushes/ It is mostly just a matter of texture. Click on "Texture" in the Brush Palette to see these settings. It works best if you create and scan your own painted texture.
