Dani’s Videos #10: Tough Teddy
Here is the first non-digital DaniDraws.com painting video. This is a small character painting I did for fun. You will see me use various media, including acrylic, gouache, oil, and colored pencil.
The original painting is for sale. Find details at danijonesillustration.blogspot.com.

Hello, Dani!
I’ve been reading your blog for a while and I really enjoy your illustration and your tips. You’re a great artist!
I’m a wannabe illustrator and this video made me so curious about your process that I decided to contact you. There are so many layers of colours and materials! The final result was very rich, even richier than your great Photoshop-made artwork.
I’d love to know how it is done, specially the dark thing you spread over the almost finished piece. Could you please explain to us what it is and how it’s done?
Thanks for the tips, the drawings and the videos!
yeah, i was wondering the same thing! :)
This stuff is great! thank you!
That was so amazing!!! I love love love your work and seeing it from start to finish was just really cool.
