Wow this Tutorial is epic! I’m a graphic design major. When your a graphic design major you use illustrator a lot and I always thought that the pen tool for it’s accuracy (vector) was a sort of cruel trade off to using whatever drawing skills you have. It’s so awesome to see that you can use your wacom with this technique. There are a lot of uses for this especially comic inking.

this is so awsome your tutorials are awsome im trying this method some since i got illustrator and ps…i never thought of illustrator like this and sofar im learning well just cant wait to make a finished drawing or artwork concepts in deviantart more better than i do…thanks so much for posting this and other tutorials here :)

namik_pasha – I use a standard round calligraphic brush. I’ve outlined the settings in the tutorial. I will use various sizes depending on the line width I need.

When I am making my custom brush the option for pressure is greyed out. I have a wacom tablet and its working fine. What could be the cause?
